It’s Wednesday – you know what that means… Time for WIAW! For those of you who don’t know, Jen over at Peas and Crayons hosts WIAW every week – check out her blog for more information on it.
I’m loving the theme this month! A sensible snacker I am (most of the time)! Since I’ve started going to yoga, my Tuesdays have become longer than usual, as I don’t get home until after 8pm. I’ve been having an extra snack before yoga to hold me over, and when I get home I am ravenous and ready for dinner!
Breakfast was Raspberry Vanilla overnight oats – old fashioned oats, milk, vanilla greek yogurt, frozen raspberries and a little agave nectar and vanilla extract. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of overnight oats for breakfast – especially now that it’s summer, such a cold and refreshing way to start the day!
I had a S’More’s Cliff Kid Zbar as a mid-morning snack too.
Lunch was a bowl of quinoa kale salad (recipe coming soon) and a bowl of pineapple. I’ve been buying a pineapple every week now – it is so cheap if you chop it up yourself!
For my mid-afternoon snack I had a box of raisins. Who says you’re too old for a kiddie box of raisins! 🙂
I also had a banana before my yoga class to quell my hunger until my late dinner.
Dinner was 3 slices of leftover sun-dried tomato artichoke pizza from last night (recipe here!). I told you I come back from yoga really hungry! Speaking of yoga, I bought an unlimited monthly pass because I’ve been loving it so far. I’ll have a yoga update on my next post!
