One of the things I love most about overnight oats for breakfast is that they are usually super easy to put together the night before, and then when you wake up your breakfast is ready! Last night, as we had just gotten back from our trip, I wanted to throw together the simplest overnight oats recipe I could think of. Meet my new recipe for simple raspberry chocolate overnight oats!
Not the prettiest breakfast, but so good!
What makes it simple? Using chocolate milk. With my nutella overnight oats, I have to stir the nutella quite a bit to get it combined. For some reason, it had never really occurred to me to use chocolate milk before! It worked fabulously and I woke up to a tasty, chocolately, wholesome breakfast.
Last night all I had to do was:
Mix together oats, chocolate milk, yogurt and chia seeds.
Add the frozen raspberries, give it a stir, cover and refrigerate overnight.
Then I woke up to this:
And just gave it a stir and it was done!

Simple Raspberry Chocolate Overnight Oats
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
- 3/8 cup 1% chocolate milk
- 1/3 cup vanilla Chobani yogurt
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- 1/3 cup frozen raspberries
1) Add chocolate milk, oats, yogurt and chia seeds to a bowl and stir to combine.
2) Add frozen raspberries and stir again.
3) Cover and refrigerate overnight.
4) In the morning, give them another stir.
