Happy St. Patrick’s Day! (If you missed my post yesterday, I shared a bunch of green recipes in honor of today’s holiday.) I’ve never failed to wear green on St. Patrick’s Day and I still like to pinch people who aren’t wearing green. Everyone has some little green accessory they can sport – no excuses! If you really have nothing, you might be able to get by carrying around this green chocolate spinach smoothie all day – that is, if you can make it last that long!
It tastes like a chocolate milkshake – no joke! And yes, it really has spinach in it. If you’ve never made a green smoothie, be brave and try this one! It’s super easy to make.
Ingredients.
Put all ingredients in a blender.
Blend until smooth.
And enjoy!
Chocolate Spinach Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 frozen banana, chopped into pieces
- 1 cup spinach
- 1/2 cup vanilla Chobani yogurt
- 1 cup chocolate milk
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
Directions:
1) Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth – that’s it!
2) Enjoy!

Mmm…I love green smoothies! I’m either going to make one for a snack later today, or head to McDonald’s for a Shamrock Shake. So naughty, I know, but I’ve never had one, and think this might be the year.
